_.Eleanor Retallack [nee Bailie] scion of that landed family, died 23rd Oct, 2011, aged 80. She was b 28 Sept, 1931, dau of Maj Charles William Hugh Bailie, of Manderstons, Duns, Berwickshire, and married c1950, Timothy Retallack. A sister, Lorna, married 1950, the Hon Gordon William Nottage Palmer, scion of the Barons Palmer, &c. Mrs Retallack leaves 3 daughters.
