Donoughue/Berry marriage

 The marriage took place circa 27 Oct, 2009 between Bernard Donoughue, the Baron Donoughue (born 8 September 1934) a Labour Party politician, academic, businessman and author, and the Hon Lady Berry, widow of the Hon Sir Anthony George Berry, MP (1925-1984), scion of the Viscounts Kemsley, and daughter of the late Raymond Clifford-Turner.

Bernard Donoughue, created a life peer in 1985, was an Opposition Labour spokesman for Energy, Heritage and Treasury matters from 1991 to 1992. In 1997, Tony Blair appointed him a junior minister at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in which role he served until 1999.  He later joined the Countryside Alliance against New Labour's policy on Hunting with Dogs, and the Foot-and-mouth disease outbreak.

The Hon Lady Berry is the former Sarah Alice Clifford-Turner (born 1939), daughter of Raymond Clifford Clifford-Turner (1906-1995), of Belgravia, by his wife the former Zoe Vachell (1909-1984); and married 1stly, 5 April, 1966, as his second wife, the Hon Anthony Berry (born 12 Feb, 1925), 6th son of the newspaper proprietor, the 1st Viscount Kemsley (1883-1968). Berry was Conservative MP for Enfield Southgate 1964-84, and was killed in the IRA bomb attack on the Grand Hotel. Brighton, 12 Oct 1984.
