David Arthur Wigram Money 1912-2009

David Arthur Wigram Money, who died 17 July 2009 aged 97, was a
favourite accompanist of the versatile opera and concert singer Ian
Wallace; he was also a Daily Telegraph music critic for 35 years. He
was born at Chelsea on January 4 1912, the eldest son of Maj.Gen. Sir
Arthur Wigram Money, KCB, KBE, CSI (d 1951), by his wife the former
Euphemia Mabel Drummond (1881-1964) scion of the Earls of Perth, and
of Beauclerk descent from the Merrie Monarch, Charles II. He married
1938, Diana Stone (d 2007). & had issue, (i) Christopher Money (b
1941), (ii) Lucilla Money, (b 1943), (iii) Josephine Money (b 1945),
and (iv) Charlotte Money, (b 1950).
