The engagement was announced 2 February, 2007, between John Crombie,
eldest son of the late Professor Leslie Crombie, FRS, and of Dr Mary
Crombie, of Nottingham, and Lucie Helen Dalrymple-Hay (b. 1969),
youngest daughter of the late Sir James Brian Dalrymple- Hay, 6th
Baronet and of Sylvia, Lady Dalrymple-Hay, of Warnham, Sussex.
