The engagement was announced in Aug 2006 between Oliver M. Mudie, son of Mr Michael Mudie, of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Mrs Ailsa Farrand, of Fordingbridge, Hampshire, and Sophie C. Gilbart-Denham (b. 1977), elder daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Sir Seymour Vivian Gilbart-Denham (b. 10 Oct 1939), of Bungay, Suffolk, sometime Crown Equerry, by his wife the former Patricia Caroline Brooking.
