The Baron Crisp

The life barony awarded to Sir Edmund Nigel Ramsay Crisp has been gazetted in the name style and title of Baron CRISP, of Eaglescliffe in the County of Durham. (Source: Daily Telegraph 3 May 2006)
He was b. 14 Jan 1952, son of Edmund Theodore Crisp by his wide Dorothy Shephard Ramsay, and was educated at Uppingham School, and St John's College, Cambridge; career:- Permanent Secretary, Department of Health, and National Health Service Chief Executive from 2000. Married 1976, Sian Elaine Jenkins, 1 son, 1 daughter.
