Lady Powell, who died 27 Feb, 2006, was the widow of Sir Philip Powell, CH, Knt, OBE, RA, FRIBA, partner of Powell & Moya Architects. She was the former Philippa Eccles, daughter of Lt-Col. C.C. Eccles, of Tunbridge Wells, and married in 1953. She was the mother of Dido and Ben. The funeral took place at Brompton Cemetery, 14 March, 2006.
