The engagement was announced 18 January, 2006, between the Hon. Edmund William Thomas Vallance, son of the Baron Vallance, of Tummel (b. 20 May, 1943), and The Baroness Vallance, of Sutton Valence, Kent, and Ulrika Elisabeth Fredrika Bogö, daughter of Herr Perarne Bogö and Fru Christina Bogö, of Kalmar, Sweden.
