The marriage took place 30 Aug 2005, at St James's Church, Cooling, Kent, between Julian (Jools) Holland (b. Hammersmith, west London, 24 January 1958), the pianist & TV presenter, son of Derek Holland, and Christabel Mary (nee McEwen, b. 1962), former wife of Edward Richard Lambton, styled Baron Durham (son and heir of the disclaimed 6th Earl of Durham), and daughter of Roderick (Rory) McEwen (1932-82), scion of the McEwen Baronets (cr. 1953), by his wife the former Romana von Hofmannsthal.

The couple have a 14 yr old daughter together, Mabel; Christabel has a son, Frederick Lambton, b. 23 Feb, 1985, from her first marriage; Mr Holland has a son George, 20, and a daughter Rose, 19, from his marriage to Mary Leahy.
