Lord Grimthorpe and Mrs Benyon both have previous marriages. -=-

_.The marriage took place in July, 2013, between Henry Edward Hugh St George (born 1983), son of the late Edward Gerald .Patrick (Barbaro) St George (1928-2004), by his wife the former Lady Henrietta Fortune Doreen FitzRoy (born 14 Sept 1949), & Florence Anne-Marie Brudenell-Bruce (born 21 Nov, 1985), scion of the Marquesses of Bute, daughter of Andrew Robert Jose Brudenell-Bruce (b 27 Jul 1951), by his wife the former Sophie M.J. Inch. Henry St George is a grandson paternally of the Marchese di San Georgio, of Palazzo Armeria, Malta, and a grandson maternally of Hugh Denis Charles FitzRoy, 11th Duke of Grafton, KG (1919-2011). The model Florence 'Flee' Brudenell-Bruce was romantically linked with Prince Harry of Wales. -=-

Janet Mary Baroness Deramore c1916-2013

_.Janet Mary, Baroness Deramore, who died 4 July, 2013, aged 97, was the wife of Richard Arthur de Yarburgh-Bateson, 6th (and last) Baron Deramore. She was the former Janet Mary Ware, who served as 3rd Officer, WRNS in the Second World War, a daughter of John Ware, MD, of Nether Close, Askham-in-Furness, and married the then Mr de Yarburgh-Bateson in 1948. They had an only child, a daughter. Her husband succeeded his brother, 23 Dec, 1964 as 6th holder of the peerage (B cr UK, 1885; Bt cr 1818). The family home for many years was at Heslington House, Aislaby, Pickering, North Yorkshire. Her husband died 20 Aug, 2006, when the peerage & baronetcy became extinct. Lady Deramore is survived by her dau, Ann Katharine, who was born in 1950. The funeral takes place at Banbury Crematorium, 15 Jul, 2013. -=-

Married 1stly, Diana Watson-Smyth, from whom he was div in 1953; married 2ndly, 1957, Vivien (who d 2010), daughter of Commander A.H. de Kantzow, DSO, RN; married 3rdly, 1 Sept, 2011, Dorothea, dau of the late Colonel Edward Berwick, by his wife the former Lady Elizabeth Harris, dau. of James Edward Harris, 5th Earl of Malmesbury by his wife the former Hon. Lady Harwood (1938-2013)

_.Lady Harwood, who died 1 July, 2013, was the wife for over 50 years of the playwright and screenwriter, Sir Ronald Harwood, CBE (b 1934). She was descended from Catherine the Great. The Russian Empress was Lady Harwood's great-great-great-great grandmother. Lady Harwood was born in London in 1938 as Natasha Reihle, younger daughter of William Riehle by his wife Helene Bobrinsky (1914-96). Her maternal grandparents were Count Lev Bobrinsky (1878-1922), who died in a Soviet prison in 1922, by his wife Princess Vera Galitzine (1877-1967). She married Ronald Harwood in 1959, and was mother of Antony (born 1960), Deborah (born 1963), and Alexandra (born 1966). -=-

_.The Hon Lady Waley-Cohen, who died 30 June, 2013, aged 93, was the widow of Sir Bernard Nathaniel Waley-Cohen, 1st Baronet (1914-91)who was Lord Mayor of London 1960-61, and a scion of the Barons Nathan (B, UK, 1940). She was born the Hon Joyce Constance Ina Nathan, 20 Jan, 1920, daughter of Harry Louis Nathan, 1st Baron Nathan (1889-1963), by his wife the former Eleanor Joan Clare Stettauer, and married Bernard Waley-Cohen, 21 Dec, 1943. Lady Waley-Cohen was MA (Girton Coll, Cambridge), a JP, Chairman Westminster Children's Hosp 1952-68, and Gordon Hosp 1961-68, &c. She was mother of two sons, Sir Stephen, the 2nd Baronet, Robert Waley-Cohen, and 2 daughters, Rosalind and Eleanor. Funeral at Golders Green Crematorium, 4 July. -=-

Death of Lady Blofeld, wife of Sir John

_.Lady Blofeld, who died 26 June, 2013, was wife of Sir John Christopher Calthorpe Blofeld, Knt (1991), DL (b. 11 July 1932) of Hoveton House, Norfolk. She was the former Judith A.H. Mitchell and married Sir John in 1961. She was mother of Charlotte, Thomas & Piers. The Blofeld pile, Hoveton House, near Wroxham, is a splendid William and Mary house, with its park originally laid out by Humphry Repton, & has been in the Blofeld family for over 300 years. Sir John Blofeld, was a Judge of the High Court of Justice Queen's Bench Division 1990-2001. -=-

_.Anne Countess of Yarborough, who died 24 June, 2013, aged 89, was the widow of the 7th Earl of Yarborough (1920-91), of Brocklesby Park, Harborough, Lincolnshire. She was the former Florence Ann Petronel Upton, born 24 January, 1924, daughter of John Herbert Upton (Upton-Cottrell-Dormer, of that landed family of Ingmire Hall, Yorks, and Lew House, Oxon), and married 1stly, Charles John Riddell Duffin, lieut Scots Guards; married 2ndly, 1957, Maj John Edward Pelham, styled Lord Worsley, who succeeded his father as 7th Earl of Yarborough (Earl UK 1837) 2 Dec, 1966. The 7th Earl, Maj. Grenadier Guards and High Sheriff of Lincolnshire (1964), died 21 March, 1991, aged 70. The Dowager Countess leaves issue, a son, Charles John, 8th Earl (b 5 Nov, 1963), and daughters, Lady Sophia, Lady Arabella and Lady Vanessa. The funeral is at All Saints' Church, Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, Thurs 4 July. -=-

Capt Owen Buckingham Varney, late Scots Guards, who died 24 June, 2013, aged 82, was a son-in-law of the 14th Earl of Lindsay (Peerage of Scot. cr 1633). He was b in 1931, son of Edwin Thomas Varney, by his wife the former Elsie Buckingham, and married 14 Dec, 1956, Lady Mary Lindesay-Bethune (b 11 Dec 1935-d 2011), by whom he had issue, two sons and one daughter.
