Morse/Nuttall engagement

The engagement was announced 28 November, 2006, between Jon Paul Morse, son of Dr John Morse and Mrs Patricia Morse, of California, & Olympia Jubilee Nuttall (b. 1977), daughter of Sir Nicholas Keith Lillington Nuttall, 3rd Baronet (b. 1933), by his 3rd wife, the former Miranda Elizabeth Louise Quarry (b. 1948), dau of Richard St. John Quarry, and former wife of Peter Sellers, CBE (1925-80), the actor. Sir Nicholas and Miranda married in 1975 and divorced in 1983, and she is now the 2nd wife of the 2nd Earl of Stockton.

Marianne Scrope [nee McCausland] wife of Christopher Richard Adrian [Kester] Scrope, [b, 1970], gave birth to a daughter, Constance Lilian, 27 November, 2006, a sister for Thomas Marcus John, who was b. 30 June, 2004.
Kester Scrope is the son of Mr & Mrs John Scrope, of the ancient landed dynasty of that name, and Marianne is the daughter of the late Marcus McCausland and Mrs Peter Welsh. Kester's grandmother was Everilda Sykes, of the Sykes of Sledmere Baronets.
Marianne Scrope is a daughter of Capt. Marcus Edgcumbe McCausland (b. 1933; d. 1972), who was son of Lt-Col Conolly McCausland, MC, DL, JP, by his wife Lady Margaret Louisa Edgcumbe (b. 1912), daughter of the 6th Earl Mount Edgcumbe.

The Viscountess Davidson, who died 26 November, 2006, was the 2nd wife of the 2nd Viscount Davidson (b. 22 Dec, 1928), sometime Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard (Deputy Government Chief Whip) in the Lords, &c. She was the former Pamela Vergette, former wife of Mr - - - -Dobb, & married Lord Davidson in 1975. (His former wife became the 2nd wife of the 4th Viscount Colville of Culross). Mary Angela FitzRoy, (b. 1919), daughter of the 2nd Viscount Daventry, descended from Charles FitzRoy, 3rd Baron Southampton, and from Charles FitzRoy, 2nd Duke of Grafton, grandson of King Charles II by Barbara Villiers, Duchess of Cleveland, &c.

He was the elder son of Marshal of the RAF Sir John Maitland Salmond, GCB, CMG, CVO, DSO, of Lewes, Sussex, and married 22 Aug 1950, Bridget Louise Wright, 2nd dau of Fitzherbert Wright, of the LG family of Wright of Yeldersley, by his wife the Hon Doreen Julia Wingfield, only daughter of the 8th Viscount Powerscourt, by whom he had issue, Alicia, Georgiana, Venetia and David. His wife's sister, Susan, was wife of (i) Ronald Ferguson and (ii) Hector Barrantes, and was mother of Sarah Margaret Ferguson, who, in 1986, became the bride of HRH The Duke of York, &c.

Dominic's father is the eldest son and heir of the 11th Baron Carbery, and he is therefore in direct line to inherit the peerage (of Ireland).The bride is also of noble stock. Her late father was the second son of Lt-Col. Wiliam Erskine Stobart Whetherly, who m. 1938, the Hon. Rosemary Gertrude Alexandra Lever, second daughter of the 2nd Viscount Leverhulme.
