_. Mariebelle, Countess Cathcart, who died 25 February, 2015, aged 91, was the second wife, and widow, of Alan Cathcart, 6th Earl Cathcart, CB, DSO, MC (1919-99) (Peerage of the UK, cr 1814).

She was Marie Isobel French, known as Mariebelle, scion of the Barons De Freyne (Peerage of the UK cr 1851), daughter of the Hon William Joseph French (b 5 Aug 1885, d 1974), by his wife the former Victoria Louise Bellasis (d 1989), scion of that landed family; married 1stly, 21 July, 1942, Capt Sir Thomas Brian Weldon, 8th Baronet (1905-79) (Bt Ure, 1723) by whom she had issue, a son, Sir Anthony, 9th Bt (b 11 May 1947), and a daughter, Tara (b 1943); married 2ndly, 1984, the 6th Earl Cathcart, who died 15 June, 1999.

_. Isabella Amaryllys Charlotte Branson (nee Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe b 1980), scion of the Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe Baronets (Bt, cr UK, 1929), & wife of Sam Edward C. Branson (b 1985), gave birth to a daughter, Eva-Deia,  in Feb, 2015.

Sam is the only son of Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson, Knt, of Necker Island, by his wife the former Joan Templeman, & Isabella is a daughter of John Austen Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (b 1947), by his former wife the former Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon (b 21 Feb 1947), scion of the Earls Howe (Earl, UK, cr 1821).

Guy Aylmer George Tryon (born 2015)

_.Dr the Hon Katherine Anne Lyon Tryon (nee Carroll, b 1981), wife of the Hon Charles George Barrington Tryon (b 15 May 1976), godson of the Prince of Wales, gave birth to a son, Guy Aylmer George, 30 January, 2015, a brother for Corinna Rose, who was b 6 Feb, 2012, and for Eloise Clementine, who was b 15 Mar, 2013.

The Hon Charles Tryon,  sometime Page of Honour to the Queen, is the eldest son of the 3rd Baron Tryon (b 26 May 1940) and the late (Kanga) Baroness Tryon, of Calne, Wiltshire, and Dr Tryon is the only daughter of Mr Peter R. Carroll, of Sandwich, Kent, by his wife the former  Paulline J.Lyon.

Rosamund Baroness Newborough 1918-2015

_. Rosamund Baroness Newborough, who died 17 February, 2015, aged 97, was the first wife of the 7th Baron Newborough, DSC  (1919-98)(Peerage of Ire, cr 1776).

She was the former Rosamund Lavington Barbour, born 17 Jan, 1918, scion of the landed family, of Bolesworth Castle, second daughter of Maj Robert Barbour (1876-1928), of Bolesworth Castle, Tattenhall, Chester, by his wife the former Ida Lavington Payne.

She married 1945 (div 1971), Robert Charles Michael Vaughan Wynn, who, during the war, had been a prisoner in Colditz Castle and escaped, & who, in 1965, succeeded as 7th Baron Newborough, and who died 11 Oct, 1998.

She leaves issue, a son, Robert, the 8th Baron (b 1949), and two daughters, (Anne) Patricia, and Diana.

A Celebration and Thanksgivinf for her life will be held at Al;l Saint's, Baschurch, Tues 7 Apr, 2015.

Sir William Fettiplace Lawrence, OBE 5th Baronet 1954-2015

_. Sir William Fettiplace Lawrence, 5th Baronet (Bt, UK, cr 1867), died 10 February, 2015. He was 60.

He was born 23 Aug, 1954, son of Maj Sir William Lawrence, 4th Baronet (1913-86), by his wife the former Pamela Mary Gordon, and succeeded to the baronetcy on his father's demise, 1986. He married in Feb 2005, Tamara Bubashvili, of Tblisi, Georgia.

Appointed OBE (2003).

Succeeded by his kinsman, Aubrey Lyttelton Simon Lawrence, who was born 22 September, 1942 (?)

Princess Maria Gloria {Lolita} Pignatelli Aragona Cortez (the Hon Mrs Mansel Child-Villiers), who died on Jersey, 9 February, 2015,aged 87, was the former wife of the late Squadron Leader the Hon Edward Mansel Child-Villiers (1913-80), a younger son of the 8th Earl of Jersey (1873-1923), by his wife the former Lady Cynthia Almina Constance Mary Needham, dau of the 3rd Earl of Kilmorey.

She was born in 1927, a daughter of Prince Antonio Pignatelli Aragona Cortez, Duke of Terranova, of Rome, by his wife the former Beatrice Molyneux, and married Mr Child-Villiers, as his second wife in 1946. They divorced in 1971. She leaves issue, a son (George Anthony) Robert, who was born in 1947, and daughters, Mary Ann (b 1951), and (Maria) Consuelo (;Lily), born in 1953.

Lady Gilmour (d 2015)

_. Lady Gilmour, who died 31 January, 2015, was the widow of Colonel Sir Allan Gilmour, KCVO, OBE, MC & Bar, Lord Lieutenant of the county of Sutherland, 1972-91, late the Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth & Camerons), who died in 2003.

She was the former Jean Wood, and married Allan Gilmour, of a Scots landed family, in 1941. She leaves three sons, David, Colin, Patrick, and a daughter, Susan.

Thanksgiving Service takes place at Rosehall Parish Church, Sutherland, Friday 27 Feb, 2015.

The Viscountess Hereford (nee Louisa Knight, born 1977), wife of (Charles) Robert de Bohun (Robin) Devereux, 19th Viscount Hereford (b 11 Aug 1975) (Premier Viscount in the Peerage of England cr 1550), gave birth to a son and heir, the Hon Henry Walter De Bohun Devereux, 11 February, 2015, a  brother for the Hon Sophia Emily Florence, who was b 12 January, 2013.

Lord Hereford is the eldest son of the late 18th Viscount Hereford (d 25 Feb 2004) and of Susan, Viscountess Hereford, of Ascott, Warwickshire, and Louisa is the younger daughter of (Christopher) William Knight, of Holland Park, London, by his wife the former Jonkvrouwe Sylvia Caroline dau of Jonkheer Emile van Lennep, of The Hague. 

Wm Knight is the son of the Hon Priscilla DODSON (dau of 2nd Baron Monk Bretton and Ruth, dau of Hon Charles BRAND scion of the Viscounts Hampden) and Maj Claude Thorburn Knight, scion of the LG family THORBURN formerly of Craigerne.

_. The 8th Marquess of Waterford (Marquess, Ireland, cr 1789), died 11 February, 2015. He was 81.

John Hubert de la Poer Beresford was born 14 July, 1933, son of the 7th Marquess  (1901-34), by his wife the former Juliet Mary Lindsay (who d 1987), and succeeded his father 80 years ago,  25 Sept, 1934.

He married 23 July, 1957, Lady Caroline Olein Geraldine Wyndham-Quin (b 1936), second daughter of the 6th Earl of Dunraven & Mount Earl (1887-1965), by his second wife the former Nancy Yuill (d 1994), by whom he had issue, three sons, Henry, Charles and James, and one daughter, Lady Alice de la Poer Beresford.

The eldest son, Henry, styled Earl of Tyrone, who was born 23 March, 1958, succeeds as 9th Marquess of Waterford, Earl of Tyrone and Viscount Tyrone, Baron Le Poer and Baron Beresford, and 13th baronet, &c.

Sir Mark Goodson, 3rd Baronet 1925-2015

_. Sir Mark Weston Lassam Goodson, 3rd Baronet, died 1 February, 2015, at Lennel House, Coldstream. He was 89. The baronetcy was cr UK, 1922.

He was born 12 Dec, 1925, son of Maj Alan Richard Lassam Goodson 1896-1941, by his wife the former Clarisse Mary Weston Adamson, and succeeded to the baronetcy on his uncle's death in 1986.

Sir Mark married 4 May 1949, Barbara Mary Constantine Andrews, by whom he had issue, a son Alan, and two daughters. The son, Alan Reginald Goodson, who was born 15 May, 1960, succeeds as 4th holder of the baronetcy.

3rd Baron Roborough 1940-2015

_. The 3rd Baron Roborough (Peerage of the UK, cr 1938), died 8 February, 2015. The Devon landowner seated near Plymouth, was aged 75.

Henry Massey Lopes was born 2 February, 1940, son of the 2nd Baron (1903-92), by his wife the former Helen Dawson (who d 1998). He succeeded his father as 3rd Baron, 3 June, 1992.

Lord Roborough married 1stly 1968 (div 1986), Robyn Carol Zenda Bromwich; married 2ndly, 1986, Sarah Anne Pipon Baker. He leaves  a widow, and 2 sons and 2 daughters from his first marriage, and 2 daughters from his second marriage. 

He is succeeded as 4th holder of the peerage by his elder son, the Hon Massey John Henry Lopes, who was born 22 December, 1969.

His funeral takes place at St Martin's Chapel, Maristow. 

Col. Ralph Stewart-Wilson, 11th of Balnakeilly, MC 1923-2015

_. Colonel Ralph Stewart-Wilson 11th of Balnakeilly, MC, who died 2 February, 2015, aged 92, was head of a Scottish landed family (formerly Stewart of Balnakeilly) of Pitlochrie, Perthshire. He was born 26 January, 1923, son of Aubyn Harold Raymond Wilson by his wife Muriel Athelstan Hood Stewart-Stevens, 10th of Balnakeilly (1899-1982), and succeeded his mother as head of the family; married 4 Oct, 1949, Rosalind Stedall,by whom he had two daughters, Maria and Lorna, and one son Aubyn (b 1963), who succeeds as 12th of Balnakeilly. 

Col Stewart-Wilson's younger brother was the late Sir Blair Stewart-Wilson, KCVO (1929-2011), a senior courtier in the household of the Queen.

Lady Villiers (nee Countess Marie Jose de la Barre d'Erquelinnes) (d 2015)

Lady Villiers, who died 1 Feb, 2015, at Ascot Priory, was the widow of Sir Charles Hyde Villiers (1912-92), a scion of the Earls of Clarendon (Earl, GB, cr 1776), and was the former Countess Marie José de la Barre d'Erquelinnes dau of Comte Henri de la Barre d'Erquelinnes.

She married 26 Oct, 1946, as his second wife, Charles English Hyde Villiers, son of Algernon Hyde Villiers by his wife the former Beatrix Paul, and was descended from the 4th Earl of Clarendon.

Her businessman husband was chairman of BSC, and knighted in 1975. He died in 1992.

Lady Villiers leaves two daughters, Diana Negroponte, and Anne Martin.

_.Vanessa Beaumont (nee Webb), wife of the Hon Wenworth Ambrose Ismay BEAUMONT (b 1979), scion of the Viscounts Allendale, gave birth to a son, Walter Blackett Beaumont, 29 January, 2015, a brother for Wentworth Louis Canning, who was born 18 September, 2013. 

The Hon Wentworth Beaumont is the only son and heir apparent of (4th) Viscount ALLENDALE (b 1948) by his wife the former Theresa (Tessa) Mary Magdalene More O'Ferrall (b 1950), & Vanessa is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Webb, of Kensington, London. 

Viscountess Allendale is a dau of Francis Ambrose MORE O'FERRALL, scion of that Irish gentry family, and Angela Mary (b 1925) dau of Sir Anthony Henry Mather MATHER-JACKSON 6th Bt (1899-1983) and Evelyn Mary (dau of Lt-Col Sir Henry Kenyon STEPHENSON 1st Bt).
