She was born Princess Ragnhild Alexandra of Norway, at Oslo, 9 June 1930, the first child of the then Crown Prince Olav and his wife Princess Martha of Sweden. The Princess was a great-grandaughter of Britain's King Edward VII, and a great-great granddaughter of Queen Victoria.

George Sutton: royal godson?
_.Harriet Sophia Sutton (b 1984, nee Colthurst), scion of the Colthurst Baronets, wife of Thomas Anthony Manners Sutton (b 1982), scion of the Sutton Baronets, gave birth to a son, George, 26 August, 2012.
HRH The Duchess of Cambridge attended the marriage of the new parents in September, 2011, at Wilton, Wilts. Harriet Sutton is an old friend of the duchess. It is reported that Kate is to stand as sponsor at George's christening.
Thomas Sutton is a son of Richard Manners Sutton (b 1947), by his wife the former Penelope Quinlan, and Harriet is a daughter Henry Colthurst (b 1959), by his wife the former Sophia Selina Irene Hervey-Bathurst, of the baronets of that name.
