The engagement was announced 10 July, 2018, between Edward George Bristow (born 1990), son of George Edward Fitzroy Bristow (born 1961), of the Isle of Wight, by his wife the former Juliet Joy Knocker (b 1962), Celia Mary Aitchison Thursfield (born 30 Nov, 1989), daughter of Timothy H. Thursfield (b 1950), of Fulham, London, by his wife the former Stella A. Salmon (born 1953).
Edward is a great-grandson of the 2nd Baron Luke (1905-96), and descends from Charles II, via the Dukes of Grafton, &c.
