The marriage took place 8 April, 2006, at St Matthew's Church, Otterbourne, between Thomas Somerled Chamberlayne-Macdonald (b. 1969), scion of the Bosville Macdonald Baronets (cr. 1625), younger son of Major Nigel Donald Peter Chamberlayne-Macdonald, CVO, OBE (b. 1927), late The Scots Guards, and Mrs Chamberlayne-Macdonald, of Cranbury Park, Winchester, & Irene A. Goulimis, younger daughter of the late Mr Stylianos Goulimis and Mrs Ioanna Goulimis, of Toronto, Canada.
Thomas's father, a younger son of the 15th Baronet, and an Extra Gentleman Usher to Queen Elizabeth II, was owner of one of Scotland's biggest and famous estates, the 80-square mile Knoydart estate. He assumed the additional surname of Chamberlayne in 1958 on his marriage to Penelope Mary Alexandra, daughter of Tankerville Chamberlayne, of Cranbury Park. Thomas's sister, Diana, is Countess of Lindsay, wife of the 16th Earl.
