The engagement was announced 18 November, 2005, between Stephen Hatton Wingfield Digby (b. 17 November, 1944), scion of the BLG family of Sherborne Castle & Coleshill, & descended from Sir James Graham, 1st Baronet, of Netherby, son of the late Archdeacon (Stephen) Basil Wingfield Digby, MBE (b. 1910), by his wife, the former Elinor Escreet Lewin Richardson, & Mrs Sylvia Pope, daughter of the late Mr Paget Bowyer, and of Mrs Bowyer, of Corfe Castle, Dorset, & formerly married (widow?) of C.J.R. Pope.
