The engagement was announced 20 December, 2005, between Capt. James Peter Faber Russell (b. 1980), of the Coldstream Guards, scion of the Barons Ampthill (descended from the Dukes of Bedford), 2nd son of the Hon. John Hugo Trenchard Russell (b. 1950), and Mrs Russell, of Ringstead, Dorset, & Georgina N. Dancy, elder daughter of Mr & Mrs Jonathan Dancy, of Newick, Sussex.
