Major Michael Gurney Leatham, late the Royal Indian Artillery, who died 9 November, 2005, aged 82, was scion of the BLG family of Leatham, formerly of Hemsworth Hall; born 23 Dec, 1922, and educated at Ampleforth, he was the son of Nigel Clere Leatham, OBE (1883-1939), by his wife, the former Eileen Edith Riley; married (1) 16 Feb, 1952, Frida Monica, daughter of C.R. Roughton, of Worcestershire; married (2), Sally. The funeral took place at the Church of Our Lady & St Michael, Llanarth Court, Abergavenny.
