The Lady Sarah Maclean, who died from cancer, 28 September, 2005, was a daughter of the 11th Earl of Aylesford.
She was born in 1950 as Lady Sarah Elizabeth Jane Finch-Knightley, elder daughter of the 11th Earl (b. 2 Nov, 1918), of Packington Old Hall, near Coventry, by his wife, the former Margaret Rosemary Tyer.
She married in 1974, Angus Nigel Garnet Maclean, 8th of Kilmoluaig, and was the mother of two sons, Angus Charles (b. 1976), and Ian Andrew (known as Bear, b. 1980).
The family funeral to be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at The Estate Chapel of St. James, Packington Park, Meriden, Warwickshire CV7 7HF on Friday 7th October 2005.
