Charlotte Methven (nee Pearson, b. 1974), wife of Charles Methven, gave birth to a daughter, Emilia Rachel, 7 November, 2005, at The Portland Hospital, London.
Charles is the son of Mr & Mrs Colin Methven, of Evenlode, Gloucestershire, & Charlotte is the daughter of Luis Hector Juan Sosa Basualdo, of New York, formerly of Buenos Aires, and the Hon. Mrs Charles Fraser, (nee the Hon. Lucy Pearson).
Charlotte is a maternal granddaughter of the late 3rd Viscount Cowdray. Charlotte's mother, the Hon Lucy Pearson, (b. 1954), married (i), 1972, [div.1978] Luis Basualdo, but the issue of the short-lived union, Rupert and Charlotte took the name Pearson and not the patronymic.
Lucy Pearson married (ii) 1988, Charles Torquil de Montalt Fraser, The Life Guards, son of Maj Michael Fraser, and descended from the Viscounts Molesworth.
