Dr Ami Vere Nicoll [nee Parikh], wife of Simon Vere Nicoll, gave birth to a daughter, Ella, 8 December, 2005, a sister for Maya, who was b. 11 March, 2004.
Simon Vere Nicoll is the son of Mr Graham Vere Nicoll, of Herefordshire, and Baroness Hothfield, of Appleby, Cumbria, and Dr Ami Vere Nicoll is the daughter of Professor and Mrs Ashok Parikh, of Norwich.
Simon's father is a nephew of Sir Charles Madden, GCB, 2nd Baronet, and his mother, Lucinda [nee Gurney], is a descendant of the extinct de Bathe Baronets.
