The engagement was announced 22 December, 2005, between Michael A.J. Davis, son of the late Mr Alan Davis and Mrs Davis, of Windlesham, Surrey, & Fiona-Jane McCall (b. 1975), daughter of William K. (Bill) McCall (b. 1944), by his late wife the former Hon. Gillian Patricia Denman (b. 1944, d.?), daughter of the 5th Baron Denman, CBE, MC. Fiona-Jane McCall's paternal grandfather Kenneth Murray McCall (who d. 1987) married in 1938, Christina Eve Laurie, scion of the Laurie Baronets (created in 1834).
